Cavanna Packaging USA
Cavanna Packaging USA’s horizontal and vertical accumulating and buffering systems are used in food processing applications such as cookies, snacks, and chocolate bars. Systems have a large storage capacity for products coming in aligned or randomly. Cavanna’s dynamic buffer features first-in/first-out (FIFO) technology and servo technology. As products enter, they are aligned in a continuous movement before being buffered via four storage coves and discharged via a swinging conveyor belt and pusher. The multi-level horizontal buffer, suitable for snack bars, chocolate bars, biscuits and other products arranged in rows, uses the last-in/first out (LIFO) system, with up to four levels of distributing stations using four buffer conveyors.
Dillin Engineered Systems
Dillin Engineered Systems specializes in accumulators including a wide selection of both inline accumulators as well as vertical accumulation systems. Inline accumulators include horizontal multi-laned systems, lift rail accumulators, single filer system and mass flow accumulators, as well as bi-directional and re-circulation accumulators. Dillin also supplies seven models of vertical accumulators, including the Roe-Lift Mega Accumulator, the F.I.F.O Accumulator, the Angle Accumulator, and the Flex Sweep Accumulator.
FlexLink Systems, Inc
Accumulating and buffer conveyors from FlexLink feature Dynamic Motion Transfer (DMT™), allowing for balanced flows at up to 1000 products/min. The intelligent features of the diverter enable a demand driven production with optimized conveyor and machine speeds. It is suitable for a wide range of products including sensitive, flexible packaging. The spiral shaped accumulating conveyor (alpine conveyor) functions as an accumulation/buffer zone between machines. It can also be used as an in-process step, e.g. for cooling or drying, or simply to elevate and lower products. This type of accumulating conveyors are used inline or as a bypass. The accumulation buffer track is typically used in testing and sorting applications.
mk North America, Inc
mk North America manufactures and distributes accumulating conveyor systems. Products can be stored horizontally or vertically, and and systems also allow items to be confined to a specific footprint or to occur freely as they move down the line. The company’s offering includes alpine conveyors, bi-flow tables, and rotary accumulation tables (or turntables). For low back pressure or zero back pressure accumulation applications, mk North America offers accumulating roller chain conveyors. In addition, its roller conveyors can be created in zones for zero back pressure conveying. Explore mk North America's accumulation systems at the link below.
Multi-Conveyor
Multi-Conveyor designs and builds accumulation conveyors to the rate and capacity specifications of the end user. Configurations of accumulators include alpine, bi-directional, mass flow, reflow, single file, serpentine, spiral, rotary and more. Company specializes in conveying applications for containers including rounds, sqrounds, bottles, vials, tubs, cans, jars and canisters (full or empty).
Nercon Conveyor Systems
Nercon’s conveyor accumulation conveyors include the Re-Flow, Rotary, and Flex Flow tables. Designed as a buffer zone, these accumulation conveyors allow the upstream and downstream applications to work independently of each other to maintain efficient production output. When downstream production reaches capacity or needs to be shutdown, the accumulation conveyor maintains production throughput as upstream products recirculate until downstream capacity can accept products.
Pack Air Inc.
Pack Air Inc. offers a variety of accumulator solutions to optimize production line efficiency by managing both planned and unplanned disruptions. These devices include rotary tables, recirculation tables, bi-directional tables, line shaft conveyors, and MDR systems, providing methods for temporarily accumulating products either on-line or off-line. Essential in industries such as paper, tissue, and non-woven converting, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, industrial and specialty markets, and health and hygiene, these accumulators ensure continuous operation, minimal downtime, and adherence to stringent hygiene standards, enhancing overall productivity and reducing operational costs. Capabilities and applications include on-line accumulation, off-line accumulation, zero pressure accumulation, low back pressure accumulation, rotary accumulation, recirculating accumulation, surge table, alpine accumulator, serpentine accumulator, FIFO, and LIFO.
Shuttleworth, Inc.
Shuttleworth offers accumulating and buffering systems for food trays, glass jars, paper plates or heavy machined parts. Machines are designed for gentle, low back pressure product accumulation and buffering, ranging from laned or mass accumulation to non-contact and vertical buffering, Line of accumulation and buffering conveyors includes DASH systems, designed for dynamic, continuous motion accumulation that results in increased throughput and enhanced line efficiencies.
