Products include the Compact Filler, with a fully automatic clean-in-place (CIP) washing and sterilizing system. The automatic cycle of opening, filling and closing begins once the bag neck has been manually inserted into the filling head. During this filling cycle, the temperatures of the jets of steam and of the filling valve are carefully monitored and controlled. For low-acid products, disinfectant is added as an aerosol spray. Other machines include a high-speed, low-acid aseptic filler, offering versatile bag-in-box filling for juices, beverages, purées and dairy products. Alfa Laval also supplies the Pilot aseptic filling system for bag-in-box and bag-in-drum for use in laboratory/pilot applications.
