BW Flexible Systems

BW Flexible Systems manufactures vertical form/fill/seal machines designed for rapid, efficient throughput to meet production demands. BW Flexible Systems' full line of continuous and intermittent motion machines include bagging machines from Hayssen, Sandiacre and Simionato brands. The Hayssen ISB is a vertical form/fill/seal (VFFS) bagger designed with hygienic design and performance at the core of its frame and operation. The entire machine is high-pressure washdown capable and its frame is an open-channel design with sloped surfaces built to have no more than one square-inch of surface-to-surface contact between its components. Other models include the Sandiacre NOVUS Doy/Quad, designed for both high speed and modular rapid changeover between stand-up pouches, doys packs and pillow bags. The small footprint Simionato Logic S 450 is capable of holding reels up to 880 mm (34.6 in.), ideal for large format packaging.

BW Flexible Systems supplies semi-free flowing and free-flowing bag filling equipment, as well as multi-head scale systems and computer combination weighers for dry filling operations. The Thiele OmniStar high-speed bag filling system for pet food, animal feed, food, industrial and agricultural products, offers production-enhancing features for large bags that were formerly found only on packaging systems for small bags. The OmniStar packages mid- to large-sized bags of product at speeds up to 20 bags/min. Thiele's 3110 Bag Filling System includes the improved Slidell PowderPacker Pro Vertical Auger Bagging System, a completely automated packaging system that offers virtually dust free bagging for most difficult to handle powders, especially titanium dioxide, resins and pigments, fine fluffy powders and powdered chemicals. BW Flexible Systems also offers a range of multi-head scale systems—including both Ishida and Yamato—delivering extremely accurate and fast weighing of a wide range of applications for all the industry sectors we serve, including IQF, produce, vegetables, confectionery, cheese, bakery, and more.

BW Flexible System supplies Thiele brand bag sealers such as the Thiele Integral Poly Sealer for pet food, animal feed, food, agriculture and other products, which reach speeds in excess of 150 feet/min. Sealer is integrated directly into either Thiele’s OmniStar Bagger or UltraStar Bagger, helping customers seal poly bags or zipper top bags at speeds of over 30 bags per minute. Other products include the Thiele 4600 Aerosol Bag Closer and the Integral XJX PBOM Sealer.

BW Flexible Systems manufactures a wide range of horizontal flow wrappers from Hayssen, Rose Forgrove and Schib. The Rose Forgrove Integra horizontal flow wrapper is used for both food and non-food products that require a hermetic seal using barrier, laminated, and all other heat-sealable types of films. Built to excel in a wide range of industries, the Schib® CO90 horizontal flow wrapper features a solid construction, easy-to-clean hygienic design; wrapper comes as a standalone machine or can be integrated into completely automated packaging systems. The Hayssen RT2000, featuring a rugged and hygienic design, can be used to fill, form, and seal an array of film structures for a wide range of products using its unique long-dwell sealing system.

With mechanical and electrical components, the system utilizes automatic programming to palletize filled bags or bales.
