Heisler Industries lid placers and closers are designed to dispense, position and seal a plastic or metal lids on filled containers, such as pails, trays, bins, rounds, cans, buckets, totes, squares, tubs, crates, ovals, rectangulars and kits. These machines come in fixed or adjustable models. For lids that require orienting, the Heisler Lid Placer can be equipped to orient a spout in relation to the handle. Lid Placers can dispense up to 40 lids per minute. Semi-automatic to fully automatic models are available with closer options including roller, traversing press, crimping, and screw-on. Closer models include the E Series Lid Placer, offering quality and durability but is geared to those users whose line speeds are usually not more than 10 containers/minute. The P300 Manual Lid Press, securely compresses plastic lids onto pails, including DOT specified pails. The P300-MAH, Motorized Adjustable Head, performs the manual operation of securing a press on style plastic lid onto a pail, accommodating 3-7 gallon pails with its pneumatically motorized head. The P300-ALH Adjustable Line Height Press securely seals lids onto a variety of containers using a press plate and is adjustable to different line and pail heights.

Heisler Industries manufactures a denester that eliminates the demanding, time consuming and tedious task of manually separating plastic or metal pails, significantly improving production capacity and profitability. Designed and built in the USA, this high speed, PLC-controlled machine is made to exacting standards for trouble free, continuous use under varying conditions. Denester can denest round, square, rectangular, and oval buckets. A stack of pails is placed on the infeed conveyor and is delivered to the tilter arm, which converts the stack from the vertical to the horizontal position. The stack then advances to the separator mechanism, which holds the stack and removes one pail at a time. Each separated pail is fed to the upender, which transfers the pail to an upright position. The entire system continues to operate even as new stacks of pails are loaded. Standard Denester can denest and position containers for filling at a speed of 25/minute. Other denesters include the Compact Denester running at speeds of up to 15/min and the E-Series Denester, providing a compact solution in a modular and economical package for users whose line speeds are usually not more than 10 containers/minute.

Heisler Industries is a specialist in bail (handle) application systems for metal or plastic containers such as 1-gal paint cans and pails. The Bail-O-Matic – available in three models – automatically forms and inserts bails at an average speed of 50 per minute, handling containers ranging from 1 to 7 gallons. The Model “D” Bail-O-Matic offers a mechanical update package addressing safety including interlocked guarding with swing out opening and easy lift off doors and new air springs, which eliminate any stored energy potential for the operator’s safety. The Model “DS” Bail-O-Matic includes the mechanical update package addressing safety along with the interlocked guarding found on the Model “D” PLUS a completely new control package featuring PLC controls and a touchscreen and servo-driven wire feed system. The newest addition to the Bail-O-Matic family is the Plastic Handle Bail-O-Matic Model PA, designed to be self contained, the machine can automatically attach handles onto plastic containers at an average speed of 60 per minute. Heisler Industries manufactures pail labelers, pressure sensitive labelers and cold glue labeling machines for some of the most commonly used plastic and metal pails. Labeling machines are designed to quickly and efficiently apply labels to 2-6 gallon round plastic or metal pails; square or rectangular cartons or containers as well as F-Style containers and 5 gallon water jugs. Heisler’s container labeling machines cover a wide range of applications: straight wall pail labeling, straight sided pail labeling, tapered pail labeling, square pail labeling, 5 gallon pail labeling, rectangular pail labeling, and paint can labeling. Pressure-sensitive labels apply the label to the pail from the center out, following the pail taper, and ensuring precise labeling. Pails never stop, and are automatically oriented for pail handle to label registration. Wet Glue Labeler uses a horizontal label magazine and uses feed roller; because the glue roller does not control the feeding, the labels are fed accurately regardless of the glue film adjustment. The Heisler Print and Apply Option is available for both pressure sensitive and wet glue machines, allowing the printing of labels as needed, thus reducing unnecessary preprinted label inventory.

Heisler Industries manufactures pail case drum palletizers and case/tray palletizers featuring heavy-duty capability and adjustable features that offers flexibility and productive power in palletizing operations for cases, crates, shipping containers, kegs, pails, totes, bread trays and drums. The pallet hopper and dispenser control the stack from the bottom pallet with virtually jam-proof operation. Pallet pattern changes and size parameters can easily be adjusted to handle a variety of containers from plastic to corrugated cases, eliminating the need for costly equipment duplication. Speeds of up to 22 ppm are standard; with optional equipment up to 40 ppm can be achieved.
