Lyco Manufacturing Inc. is an original equipment manufacturer of pasteurizers for food and liquid processing applications. Designed as a variation of Lyco’s 30 year old rotary drum blanchers/cooker designs, pasteurizers have different heating systems, different controls and a higher level of USDA/MID sanitation design features. First used in 1988, Lyco’s pasteurizers are now capable of running packages from very small pouches to 5 to 10 lb pouches. Featuring a Rotary Drum System, Lyco’s pasteurizers provide uniform process results, are easier to clean than belt systems and have only one major rotating component – the cylinder – which doesn’t damage pouches or wear out and need replacement.

Lyco Manufacturing offers a full line of wastewater screens for a broad range of applications, from poultry rendering and slaughter to vegetable processing and everything in between. Processors can gain significant savings with the Double Drum Screen two-in-one screening system to reduce industrial waste and increase product recovery. Other systems include the Single Drum Wastewater Screen, designed to help reduce industrial waste and increase product recovery. Lyco’s Water Reuse System can save money, cut cleaning and maintenance time, and reduce consumption of water resources of up to 15 million gallons per year.
