Pattyn North America developed Argorobot, a unique and patented robotized technology to pick up artisan bread products and fragile pastry products mechanically or by using vacuum cups. This packing and counting robotic solution allows dimensional quality control and packs many fragile products in boxes, designed for applications, requiring special treatment because of their shape, such as buns, ciabattas, fresh pizza dough, donuts, cakes, pies and more. The system optimizes the number of products in boxes requiring a special packaging pattern, selecting and packing only the products following end user quality requirements. Other features include 3D scanning to change the grip height, pick-up tools specifically designed for the bakery industry by Pattyn Bakery Division and a pick-up strategy that optimizes speed.

Pattyn North America supplies dry filling equipment for applications ranging from linear fillers for bulk solids to weigh fillers for tobacco. Featured fillers include the LBVF‑34A linear belt vibratory weigh filler, which combines belt and vibratory dosing on one machine for applications such as weighing and filling solid chocolate. The LVF-14A/B-D linear vibratory filler comes with one or two heads, designed for fragile products up to 30 x 30 x 30 mm, such as nuts, diced and sliced IQF fruits and vegetables and small granular products.

Pattyn North America’s quality control equipment include machine vision systems for processing applications and the CW-11 check weigher, which weighs boxes to check if the weight is situated between the set limits. Available with a reject conveyor, the check weigher uses a roll conveyor instead of a belt so that the box will be rejected in the same position. Standard check weigher handles up to 12 c/min, while a continuous check weigher handles higher speeds above 12c/min.

The ArgoCheck from Pattyn Bakery Division is a quality control system that performs quality inspections for bakery and puff-pastry products. Easy to use and highly flexible, the machine checks all types of product and sorts the bad products among the good ones. System uses industrial vision in order to ensure that the packed products correspond to set specifications and rejects contaminated or non-compliant products. It performs various dimensional checks (i.e., length, width, height) but also aspect controls (scoring, baking level and more.) System offers flexibility, three levels of rejection, reliability and consistency thanks to the 3D scanning technology. Includes a metal detection and downgraded operation options.

Developed for the specific needs of the industrial bakery and pastry sector, Pattyn North America's Odyssey case packer drops bags of baked goods from a bagging machine into a box or cardboard tray. Designed to be reliable and robust, the system offers a unique dropping height adjustment to fit the box height and minimize the drops of the bags. Case packing system handles up to 50 bags/min, up to 40 drops/min and 20 boxes/min.
