PMI Kyoto is an original equipment manufacturer of side-load case packers. Company’s product line of RSC and wraparound case and tray packers is versatile for a wide range of product applications and packaging types. RSC case packers handle products in a continuous motion, featuring a gentle pick-and-place collation system that efficiently stacks products, with servos used to ensure precise case forming and indexing. Wraparound case packers reduce the amount of carton overlap to achieve a tighter fit around your product, resulting in stronger, more efficient cases. Systems employ Nordson hot melt glue system with the servo drives for smooth case handling, consistent case closing, and accurate sealing of up to 30 cases/min.

PMI KYOTO offers horizontal and vertical cartoning machines that help maximize production rates, improve overall line efficiency, and optimize operations for a variety of packaging applications in pharmaceuticals, food, confections and personal care products. Horizontal packing machines are capable of filling and sealing a wide range of carton types, including economy seal, reverse tuck, straight tuck and fifth panel styles. PMI Kyoto’s vertical cartoners are continuous motion, compact design systems that are engineered to easily integrate with a variety of filling systems, such as combination weighers and augers, in applications including cartoning of powders, small pastas with seasoning packets, bite-sized candies, or small pet treats.

PMI Kyoto develops and integrates custom robotic solutions that are tailor-made for collation, product handling, case packing and robotic carton packaging applications. Company will integrate delta or six-axis packaging robots within its own cartoners and case packers for pick-and-place capabilities. PMI Kyoto also integrates with various robot manufacturers depending on the needs of the customer.
