SMI’s rotary stretch blow molders are available both in standalone and combination versions to ensure high performances in the stretch blow molding of PET, PEN and PP bottles, mainly used for the food, beverage and detergent industries. Range of stretch blow molders includes three EBS K ERGON models, from 2 to 4 cavities, for the production of PET bottles with a maximum output of 2,300 bph/cavity, depending on machine model and product. Company also offers seven EBS E ERGON models, from 4 to 16 cavities, for PET bottle production with outputs up to 2,300 bph/cavity.

SMI USA’s liquid filling product line includes the compact ECOBLOC® range, which integrates the functions of a rotary stretch-blow molder, a rotary electronic filler, and a rotary capper into a single unit, for applications including flat and carbonated water, fresh milk, juices, edible oil, vinegar, carbonated soft drinks and detergents.

SMI designs and manufactures a wide range of fully automated machines for secondary packaging including stretch film packers and shrink film wrappers. Models provide performances from 30 to 450 ppm (in triple lane), depending on the model chosen and on the type of product to pack. SMI shrink wrappers and case packers can be integrated with a SMI palletizer to form a Packbloc compact end-of-line system.

SMI USA’s machines include the WP ERGON wraparound case packers, which can achieve an output up to 80 ppm, according to the machine model and product. These automatic case packers handle plastic, metal, cardboard and glass containers in corrugated cardboard cases and/or trays without film. Designed for ergonomics, sturdiness and modularity, wraparound case packers handle octagonal or rectangular trays with either the same height or different heights. Movable safety guards facilitate operator access when performing machine maintenance.
