The SD-610 tape applicator is an end-of-arm robotic tape application system designed to handle the demands of precise tape placement. The lightweight tape applicator enhances productivity by removing manual application and cutting, instead relying on a robust robotic tool to automate the process. Intended to be mounted on a robot wrist joint, the recommended minimum robot size is 15kg.

In addition to offering standard tape applicators, Straub Design Company supplies the SD-680 Fill Valve Taping System for sealing bags. System dispenses, cuts and applies 2- to 6-in.-wide pressure-sensitive tape to a wide variety of filled bags to provide support and protection of the bag fill valve. The tape is applied to the leading edge of the fill valve by an automatic tape applicator coupled with a controls system. System can apply tape up to 4” on either side of the fill valve for maximum protection.

Adhesive application systems from Straub Design Company include the SF-40/SD-40 automatic taping system, which automatically feeds and applies transfer tape with liner in place and tear strip tape to corrugated or paperboard blanks.

Straub Design Company makes the SD-400 powered unwind stand for foam tape converting operations, designed to provide an unwind for level-wound tape with a liner. A liner rewind spindle provides for rewinding the liner as the tape is unwound.
