Unified Flex Packaging Technologies supplies custom-printed rollstock as well as pre-formed pouches and bags in a variety of styles. Company's line of custom extruded and laminated films work efficiently with both vertical form/fill and horizontal form/fill/seal machines. United Flex Packaging can configure the rollstock film to suit the application and the budget. Rollstock can be printed in up to 10 colors using a rotogravure process. Glossy finish, matte finish or a combination finish material are available, as well as reverse printing and surface printing capability. Bag styles include box pouches, doy standup pouches, block bottom bags, flat-bottom four-corner bags, quad seal bags, four-side seal bags and many more.

Liquid Fillers

Unified Flex offers volumetric piston fillers and high-speed pumps for both free flowing liquids and viscous liquids. The Piston Filler is an excellent option for free-flowing liquids and paste like products. Piston fillers can be used for low speed applications where as pumps are required for high speed applications of both free flowing and viscous products. Piston fillers come in single head and double head configurations. Higher cycle times can be achieved with double head piston fillers. Free flowing piston fillers can be used for products like water, juices, sauces, oils and similar products. Viscous fillers can be used for products that are not easy to flow like peanut butter, mayo, creams, ointments and similar products.

The AF-100 Auger Filler is a versatile, low-cost, semi-automatic auger filler equipment for consistent materials in powder form. This volumetric filling machine is also used with Unified Flex's VertoBagger Series bagging machines. It features a direct-driven servo motor for those applications that demand speed and accuracy. Independent agitation blade keeps the product in same consistency as its processed through the filler. The precision of the AF-100 Auger Filler’s stopping position and the ability to key in motor acceleration, deceleration, rotational speed and the exact number of revolutions via the touch-screen control panel are among the highlighted features.

Unified Flex offers 13 vertical form/fill/seal models in six unique series: Premium line, Economic line, Continuous Motion line, Stick Pack, and Multilane Sachet. Speeds can range from 7 to 180 bags/min., handling numerous bag types and sizes. Featured machines include the Vertobagger Horner, handling up to 80 bags/min., with maximum width of 13 in and maximum bag length of 20 in. Other machines include the Multilane Stick Pack 300M for granular, liquids and powders, offering available options like tear notches, different seal patterns and more. The AP-140 Auto Pouch Bagger is a sachet machine that can pack 5 different styles of bags with the simple tooling change over.

Conveyors

Unified Flex supplies inclined belt conveyors designed for bagging operations for wet products including vegetables, fruits, IQF frozen products as it has a plate at the bottom to collect all the dripping water; conveyor can also be used for dry or pre-packaged products as well. Inclined belt conveyor lifts the product from a lower level to a multihead/linear scale suspended over the bagging machine. These conveyors come with vibratory hoppers that can store product in bulk and slowly meter the required amount of product on the belt. Height and width of the conveyors can be customized to meet the requirements of the bagging machine and weigher. Various type of belts are available including rubber belts, plastic belts, cleated plastic belts and cleated rubber belts. Inclined conveyors can be mounted on casters or railings to move for easy sanitization.
