Capmatic
Capmatic supplies the Tablet Elevator Feeder, marketed as "the ultimate solution for seamless and efficient product feeding." Featuring an innovative magnetic lift motion system, this feeder requires no air. The Tablet Elevator Feeder has a low loading height at 780mm. The system also boasts a hopper volume exceeding 100 Liters (3.53 ft³) and a transport bucket volume of 13 Liters (0.45 ft³). Achieving speeds ranging from 3.5 to 4 lifts per minute (up to 52 liters/m) (1.83 ft³), the elevator feeder's efficient design ensures optimal performance.
Harro Höfliger
On Harro Höfliger’s MKT cartoning system for pharmaceutical packaging, brochures are folded to the suitable sizes using standardized systems and then inserted into the package. The process gets more demanding if variable data is printed in them and they must be verified by visual inspections. The packaging insert is critical to ensure preparations are used safely. With an output of up to 150 folding cartons per minute, the intermittent MKT offers maximum productivity – and a very small footprint.
MFT Automation
Automating folding tasks improves efficiency and consistency compared to manual folding, and folding assemblies can easily integrate into existing production lines. The two main automated folding techniques are Plow Folding and Buckle Folding. Plow Folding, used for side or book-style folds, involves a curved metal plate and roller to guide and crease the product as it moves down a conveyor. This compact system is ideal for high-speed, accurate folding in applications such as sealing booklets, folding cartons, and creating pamphlets. Buckle Folding, which folds from front to back, uses high speed and force. The product is driven into a buckle plate with a backstop, causing it to buckle and fold backward as rollers crease the fold. Though slower than Plow Folding, Buckle Folding is essential for applications requiring front-to-back folds, such as booklets, inserts, and magazines.
Norwalt
High-speed puck loader and depucker systems handle specific orientation applications for filling products such as deodorants and shampoos. These systems run at very high speeds while delivering optimal OEE. Rather than relying on gravity and other outdated methods, Norwalt's puck loaders/depuckers use advanced tooling to craft the smartest strategy possible, working with odd sizes, irregular/asymmetrical shapes and unique designs.
