B&B offers a variety of different solutions in case packing, tray, tray with lid, wrap-around or RSC case packaging options for the effective protection for the transport and storage of products. B&B’s Universa is a fully automatic case packaging machine which erects and fills up to 15 cpm in a top load, pick-and-place process before closing cases with hot-melt or adhesive tape. Suitable for the end packaging of glasses, bottles, cans, coils, molded bottles and other kinds of products suitable to be transported using vacuum grippers. The B&B Combimatic tray and wrap-around case packaging machine is a servo-mechanical system which fills product and closes/seals with hot-melt glue from flat carton blanks. Bottom trays, high board trays with U-shaped or tray-lid and wrap-around cases are all packaging options offered with the Combimatic at speeds of up to 25 cycles/min. The Kartomat KVA series from B&B is designed to fill and seal RSC type corrugate cases with a wide variety of products including, folded cartons, cylindrical products (garbage bag rolls, wallpaper rolls, stacked cans) and paper products. Closing options of hot-melt and adhesive tape at speeds of up to 30 cpm are possible. B&B case filling equipment can be combined with B&B film wrappers or shrink tunnels in a seamless, complete end-of-line packaging operation.

B&B Packaging Technologies manufactures sealing equipment for bags including the CPH-WPP, designed for aligning and sealing woven PP bags and paper bags by using the hot air sealing method and plastic bags by impulse sealing after the filling process. Bag aligner and sealer eliminates the need for pre-applied hotmelt. Sealer can be implemented in existing filling lines and runs up to 65 bpm.

The Matador from B&B packs a wide variety of products with kraft paper wrap or banding. Paper-based wrap options are a paper sleeve wrap with open ends or fully wrapped with side folding and sealed/closed with hot melt. Designed to save energy and money with higher performance when compared to full shrink tunnel packers, the system can bundle irregular shapes, low COF packaging and non-rigid packages into optimized solid formations with thin, high stretch films resulting in efficient, improved pallet unitization with less transport shift/damage and reduced waste. B&B’s RO Rotary Roll packer is designed for the packaging of cylindrical products in a film wrap at high speed, up to 120 cycles/min. Cylindrical products or stacks of smaller cylinders can be arranged and packaged in formations to meet specifications.

B&B’s bag and pouch converting equipment features in-line reclosable options. In addition, its top closure system (TCS) can apply reclose features to pre-made bags out of line. The TCS runs up to 55 pre-made plastic bags/min., attaching a top slider or a top press-to-close zipper (PTC) feature. A stand-alone variation of the machine is equipped with an automatic bag aligner.

Package formats from three-side seal and stand-up pouches to large side-gusseted and quad-seal bags are all possible. Stand-up pouch machine has features for adding tear-off notches, zipper reseal or handles in a wide variety of film structures including barrier, non-barrier, breathable and fully recyclable as well as paper. Side-gusset bag machines are dedicated to the conversion of PE materials, PET/PE, mono-materials, MDO/PE and other recyclable structures.
