ABOX Automation Corp.
The PD2XL Pouch Dispenser is designed by ABOX Automation to be a highly cost effective way to insert small pouches into a large variety of bottles and containers. It can be used for desiccants, oxygen absorbers, Sensormatic Security Strips, and a wide variety of other products. With its inline design, the unit requires only 24 inches of conveyor space to operate allowing it to squeeze into a tight packaging line. The unit is also available with a gating system or timing screw package that are attached directly to the machine, allowing the entire system to be moved from line to line. Company’s non-contact feeders are designed for delicate or sticky products such as bars or items that cannot be exposed to backlog pressure. Cavanna Packaging USA specializes in equipment for flow wrapped cookies, biscuits, and snacks, including feeding and pick-and-place systems. The P4 is a robotic pick-and-place system, designed as a compact and fast solution for automatically loading either flow wrapped goods or trays. The CVC Bottle Unscrambler is designed to automatically feed bottles from a bin and place them upright onto a conveyor at speeds of up to 200 bottles per minute. This PLC-controlled unscrambler comes standard with a 6-in. touch screen panel. Options include ionized air rinse with vacuum, fallen bottle sensor with return to bin, low level hopper sensor, tower lamp, and static eliminator bar. CVC inserters include the CVC1117 Cotton Inserter, engineered to insert polyester, rayon, or cotton coil into containers at speeds up to up to 60 bottles/min., and the CVC1103 Pouch Desiccant Inserter, which cuts desiccant packets from a roll and inserts them into containers at speeds of up to 120 bottles per minute.

Del Packaging, Ltd
DEL manufactures cap, lid and parts feeders used on bottling and container packaging lines. Rotary, pick-and-place, and elevator style feeders are used to feed caps to a DEL overcapper or lidder, or operate as a stand-alone system. DEL’s offers two rotary cap/parts feeder sizes (47- and 62-in. designs), the size of which is determined by production rate and cap/part characteristics. DEL’s three cap sorter elevator comes in 24-, 30-, or 36-in. belt widths. Caps are manually dumped into a 20-, 30-, or 40- cu ft. hopper, where a slightly angled vertical belt with cleats carries the caps upward toward the feeder exit. DEL’s feeders are capable of feeding round, square, or irregular shaped caps.
Engineered Automation of Maine
Engineered Automation of Maine (EAM Inc.) offers the Cooper Feeder, a high-speed card stock and foil pouch feeding system. Comes with encoder and trigger outputs and is fully capable of being integrated into labelers, barcode verifiers and printers. Features positive individual feeds using an active stack lifter and vacuum take-away.
Graphic Packaging International
Graphic Packaging’s pick-and-place machines are available in multiple construction grades to suit the production environment. Quick-change magazines and vacuum stem tooling provide reliable product changeovers. Reciprocating placers achieve speeds of up to 90 ppm per lane while rotary placers reach rates of up to to 450 ppm. Intermittent or continuous motion application solutions are available. HSAUSA supplies various pouch and case feeding systems, including the VFS-1000 vertical feeding system, designed to feed zippered pouches allowing pouches to be placed vertically on for easier stacking, allowing end users to put many zippered pouches on the in-feed conveyor for several minutes of run time, with the number limited only by the length of the conveyor. The HFS-2000 horizontal feed system feeds cartons and bags laying flat, with a special focus on packages that are too large for standing on edge. Other machines include the VCT-3000 vertical case transport feeds flat shipping cases for labeling or ink jet printing and the MFS-4000 manual feed system to manually place pouches or bags one at a time onto a conveyor for labeling or printing.
Kirk-Rudy, Inc.
The KR725 bag feeder from Kirk-Rudy is designed to feed difficult large flat bags one at a time from a stack onto a vacuum conveyor for printing and/or labeling. The pick-and-place suction cup mechanism removes the top bag off a stack and feeds it onto the conveyor. The automatic stack loader allows the operator to load a stack of bags while the previously loaded stack is already being fed into the unit, providing continuous feeding.

LoeschPack makes buffering and feeding systems for chocolate bars, chewing gum and other products.
